Free Domestic Violence & Mental Health Resources

Hope, Healing, and Resources

I believe that everyone should have access to free resources and information about domestic violence and mental health. If you or someone you love is experiencing domestic violence or mental health issues, please know that there are many resources and organizations available to help.

Resources

  • The National Domestic Violence Hotline offers free around-the-clock phone hotlines for people who are in an abusive situation and need help. You can contact the live chat line for a confidential, online conversation with an advocate, or dial 1-800-799-SAFE (7233) or 1-800-787-3224 (TTY) to reach the hotline by phone. You can also text “START” to 88788 to get help.
  • Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) National Helpline is a free, confidential, 24/7, 365-day-a-year treatment referral and information service (in English and Spanish) for individuals and families facing mental and/or substance use disorders..
